Since 2013 I’ve been consistently working in music composition, production, songwriting, and mixing and mastering.
DAW Experience
10+ years in Ableton Live and Logic Pro X, with some experience in Pro Tools.
Composing Approach
Experienced with many virtual instruments in my studio, such as the Komplete suite from Native Instruments, Spitfire Audio libraries, and many other Kontakt based libraries.
Mixing Approach
An expert understanding of many industry standard plugins, such as the FabFilter suite, all of the oeksound plugins, and iZotope plugins, amongst many others. I have a suite of all tools available at my disposal for professional mixing/ mastering work.
Music Education
My first class honours music degree is testament to my deep and fluent grasp of melody, harmony, texture, and composition generally. My experience with classical piano performance too showcases my understanding of different compositional styles from all eras of music.
Sound Design
Understanding many different production approaches including all varieties of synthesis, and sound design techniques.
Professional History
Since 2019 I have been working in a professional music capacity, including work for labels providing EDM remixes, private work for pop music clients, and composing music specifically for adverts/promotional videos for other companies. I am used to working to a brief, and accommodating revisions when needed.
